Can was in a package of goodies provided to me for volunteering at the 2005 GABF. Thanks for the opportunity. Pours a two finger sticky white head (well, a bit yellowish) over a clear light straw liquid. Although clear, the beer has fine particles suspended. Smells sorta like a Heinekin, but not as skunky. Saaz hoppy with a honey sweetness from the malt. Simple, yet somewhat pleasing. Tastes bitter acrid from carbonation. A sweet comes in and then a distinct grainy barley rises in the aftertaste. It's not often I get as clear a taste of the grain as I did just then.
The start of each taste is not nice, but the finish is. Floral hops are mild in the flavor. Light body and heavily carbonated. Less carbonation and I'd like this beer more, I suspect.
