I had this beer on-tap in a glass mug at the brewery.

Appearance: light golden hue with the tiniest dash of haze and a thick head of creamy ivory foam.

Smell: the malt has a light graininess and a few notes of honey, even. It’s quite nice indeed.

Taste: moderately sweet, crackery malt flavor, with a good yeastiness and a hop bite that is solid but not overpowering. Might be a little bitter for the level of malt, but still really good.

Mouthfeel: medium body with an incredibly well integrated carbonation and an excellent creaminess for a beer that isn’t a huge sweet stout. Outstanding, really.

Overall: a really enjoyable beer and light enough to drink all day. Really good.
