Went to grab a 6-pack and a few cans at Windmill Farms and came home with 29 beers, spending way too much money. An online description I found read “DDH Hazy Double IPA with Citra, Mosaic & Strata. Passion meets pot on this bad boy! Tons fresh berry, bubblegum, tropical fruit, citrus and of course that passion fruit comes in right before the dank cannabis finish.”
Poured a medium-yellow semi-hazy color with three fingers of frothy white head. Could see lots of bubble streams coming up along the sides of the glass. Almost perfect foamy lacing. Excellent foamy retention. (Sight - 4.50)
Smelled mango, passion fruit, strawberry, Mosaic, Strata, tropical bubblegum, weed, Citra, red grapefruit and purple grape. About the same from the can. (Smell - 3.75)
Tasted about as good as the nose. In order got mango, passion fruit, strawberry, Mosaic, floral, Strata, tropical bubblegum, dank weed, red grapefruit, purple grape, Citra, red pepper and lingering spice. (Taste - 3.75)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Average carbonation. Long, smooth, juicy finish. (Feel - 4.25)
Pretty good overall. Not one of the best Beer Zombies beers I’ve had but not one of the worst. May have underrated it slightly. (Overall - 4.00)
