I had this beer on-tap in a shaker pint at the brewery in Mexicali.
Appearance: pale straw hue with just a dash of haze and a finger of frothy eggshell foam atop.
Smell: nicely malty with a bready character.
Taste: slightly bready, slightly crackery malt with a yeasty character and a not-insignificant dose of earthy hops. It’s pretty good, but honestly it’s kinda heavy for a Kölsch.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: a bit heavy for the style, but overall not too bad.
