Bohemian Pilsner, Honey Crisp Malts & Lush Hops. 5.2% alc/vol
Classic pilsners are loved all across the globe. Our interpretation of this style showcases a hop swirl. This technique accentuates the tropical hop aromas, whilst softening its harshness. Beautifully balanced with notes of honey and a hint of citrus. Certainly a "pintje" to be enjoyed at your leisure. (IBU 35)

What a fantastic find! A very refined yet Belgian style interpretation of what Pilsner is.
It's elegant in its hop dryness. Hop presence is consistent throughout. For a Bohemian style Pils the hop doesn't taste Czech. More German, maybe. But pleasant.
I think I like this beer quite a bit.

What kind of Pils is this ?
I'd call it mostly German, but it does have a strong hoppy finish similar to a Czech.
Bell Road Pils Looks inviting, a clear golden with a nice foam that could stick around longer. It Smells mostly of malt. Not until early palate do I sense solid hops, but they keep growing until the finish seems too strong for this malthead. This seems to be the second release as I have a May 2026 Best By date. A third release can moderate/soften the hops without losing Bell Road's character. Medium-mouthed.
My sixth brew from them, I like Cuver's thoughtfulness and apparent expertise and give them good Overall Hugs. They are a recent and small micro, but also are Belgian specialists (my favourite tradition, but also a harder road in the U.S.) So it is good to see Cuver diversify into a broader market and join the Lager Revolution. A sante' !

This is one fine Pils, and from a Belgian beer producer! It pours nicely and is a bit more gold than most Pils with a bit more complexity to it's taste as well. I would drink this over Russian River STS. Just sayin'.
