Taste: refined crispness, bright German hops, caramel malts, spiced, crackers, citrus with a clean finish. Hopped slight fermented grain earth nose. Brassy golden hue, semi unfiltered, white foam head, with some lace. Medium/light to medium body. Mouthfeel become smoother as it warms a bit. 19 IBUs

Bright gold pour, plenty of carbonation and white foam. Smell is very bready, to the point of slightly macro like, with some honey, grass, and malts. Taste was classic, but not as crisp as I like helles normally, too much carbonation perhaps. Very bready like the nose indicated, with grains and malts running the show. Feel was bready, heavy, and began to break down a little before the finish. And really that's just it, give me a clean finish in taste, smell and feel and I would like this a lot more.

My first from this brewery, so I went on their site and see that they have a dozen more beers than the two on BA.
(But since I couldn't find the English translation button, I can't report much else accurately.)
At any rate... A nice helles that I enjoyed with lunch.
With slightly above average Looks for the style (murky but pretty), Smells are more typical (largely a bready malt) with the hops entering to balance in the Taste. Brunnenbier sits softly in my mouth and let a slightly spiced soup do its thing... which is what a lunch beer should do.
I also give extra points for the "naturub" (which I translate as organic ingredients) coming from a family brewery in a bucolic, but advanced part of the world.

Poured a cloudy golden color. One finger white fluffy head. lots of lacing. . Slight malty smell, tastes of biscuity bready malts. Creamy consistency, a wonderful mouth feel.

Two friends of mine from Germany brought 4 mini kegs over on their recent visit. Review is from notes.
A: Poured a murkey golden color with yellow and orange hues. One finger white frothy (milkshake like) head that left great lace. Retention was also very good on the head.
S: Not much of big smelling beer. Slight malty smell, but that was about it.
T & M: Tastes of biscuity bready malts dominate the palate. Almost all malts on this one with an ever so slight hop presence that is only noticeable at the middle to back of the tongue and with a slight bitter finish at the roof of the mouth. What a creamy beer! Coats the mouth like you just drank a warm milkshake (that didn't sound too good). Milky smooth though with a wonderful mouthfeel.
D: Definately a high drinkability on this offering. Very low carbonation with a medium abv allows this to be a wonderful session beer, which is turned out to be. Thanks to Toby and Johannes!
