Honey Vanilla Ale 6.3%
Savor the smooth, golden flavors of our Raw Honey and Vanilla Bean Ale, a perfectly balanced brew with natural sweetness and a hint of creamy vanilla.

B5 Brewing Co. "Silk 'n Honey"
16 fl. oz. can (crowler) filled on 12/26/25 and consumed shortly after
Notes via stream of consciousness: It's poured a clear golden amber body beneath a finger's width of white foam. The aroma is rich and bright and sugary with both honey and vanilla showing over a lightly caramelish malt base. The flavor switches things around and delivers sweet and bright vanilla and honey within the lightly caramelish malt base. It's sweetish, bready, carmelish, and lightly fruity with some apple and sweet red berry. I'm not sure what's in it but I wouldn't be surprised if the malt bill included some Munich malt. There's not a lot of bitterness to it at all but if you sip at it rather than drinking it like a regular beer the sweetness won't build on your palate. The brewer told me that it's one of their best selling beers because women go crazy for it, and I believe that. In the mouth it's medium bodied on the fuller end and smooth with a moderate, fine-bubbled carbonation. It could probably be a little bit better balanced although I'm not sure how, but it's really well rounded and surprisingly charming and satiating.
