Toruńskie Piernikowe Ciemne is made from an amber/semi-dark beer and is characterized by a distinct but subtle gingerbread note with cloves in the foreground. Slightly sweet at the beginning, dry on the finish

500ml bottle brought back from Poland. Served in several little sample glasses.
Pours dark amber, medium head. Smell is ginger and nutmeg. Somewhat root beer flavored -- maybe sarsaparilla, some vague herbal stuff. Mouthfeel is medium, a little on the sticky side. It's not bad.
