Clear somewhat pale golden body with a very large eggshell white foam head that is sustained but the lacing is scant. Smells of grassy hops, lemon peel and cereal grain with mild bready yeast. Taste has crisp malts that are a bit shallow, again getting cereal grain more than the thin yeast, hops are good though with a grassy emphasis. Crisp maltiness but yeast is simpler, hops bitters are pleasant. Drinks more like a light lager than a helles

Crystal clear amber brew with long lasting foam in the 10 oz nonic. It’s a drier sort of Helles with just a trace of sweetness. Some malty taste with cereal and a resiny finish. Just a slight bitterness in the aftertaste. Overall, it’s clean, nicely grain-tasting, sudsy and highly quaffable. On tap at the HP Cafe on Roosevelt.

16oz can served in a curvy Monhegan pint glass. Canned 11/12/24. Bought it at Chuck's Hop Shop yesterday.

Pours crystal clear light yellow-gold with a medium sized head and plenty of active carbonation. Smell is grainy with a lemony background, floral and grassy.

Taste is sweet grain tea with a little lemon zest, grassy bitterness is a bit stronger in the taste than it was in the aroma.

Mouthfeel is light and smooth. Nice beer.

The pour is beautiful. Very pale yellow, but crisp and clear. Solid two fingers of rocky head that dissipates against its own will, leaving chunks of foam along hte glass as it does so.

The nose is lightly sweet pale grains and a bit of grass and wildflower. They nail it here.

The flavour is a little more subdued. More dulled/blunt. It's still quite good! But it's not on the level of the aroma or appearance. Light crackery malts and a touch of honey and some dull mineral bordering on medicinal bitter (that is light, to be fair) kind of rounds things out. The bitter gets maybe a touch of a peppery note as well, but it's got a pretty noticeable medicinal bitterness/yeastiness maybe?

Aside from the aspiring note listed, the body is light and effervescent and the finish has some dull bitterness and a touch of light sweetness. It's quite good overall, but falls just short of being phenomenal.

This is just the second beer I've had from these guys, but they've both been pretty impressive overall. I'll definitely keep an eye out for their stuff in the future.
