Revel in the rich heritage of an Extra Special Bitter. Crafted with English hops, caramel malts, and London ale yeast. It’s a nod to tradition with a balanced blend of malt sweetness and subtle hop bitterness.

Dirty copper color. Clear. Larger head that settles in a rocky fashion fairly quickly leaving large 3D spots in its wake.
Strong semisweet caramel nose. Sweeter than expected. I’m unable to tease out any hop smells. Some metallic notes.
Fuller bodied enhanced by a lower carbonation level. The taste is slightly darker than the smell and less sweet. I get the beginnings of chocolate and brown bread. The caramel malt is still there but not as sugary. The hop is notable here, especially after the swallow. It’s straight up bitter but acts as a balance not as the main ingredient. Moderate length aftertaste.
