Poured from 330mL can into my Belvárosi sörfesztivál tulip. Canned 7/26/24, expires 7/26/25.
Appearance: deep amber hue with pink notes, and a finger of frothy pink foam atop. I love me a cherry beer!
Smell: very sweet and candylike cherry; I like it, but there's definitely a hint of backsweetening or something that gives it a bit of a cherry cough drop character.
Taste: it's tasty, because I like cherry beers. There's a hint of tartness here that would be great if it were expanded in scope a little bit. The sweetness is maybe just a bit too much. All of that said, I still like it!
Mouthfeel: medium body with a moderate but smooth carbonation that yields a nice creaminess.
Overall: a tasty cherry beer. This is candy, for sure, but that's what I was expecting, and it's what I got!
