Once again, the Bottle Backlog here at Chez Woody requires my attention at the cost of everything else. I will be glad to see the last one go into the recycling bin, whenever that may be.
From the bottle: "Rhode Island's Microbrewery".
After Pop!ping the cap, I went with an aggro pour as I am facing a time constraint before heading out to play trivia. This action produced two fingers of fizzy, tawny head that quickly reduced to a skim of wisps across the top of the liquid. Color was Coppery-Brown (SRM = > 17, < 22), although closer to 17, with NE-quality clarity. Nose was spicy enough, loads of cinnamon along with clove & nutmeg, but not overdone. It smelled pleasant enough to drink! The jack o'lantern on the label grinned at me for saying so. Mouthfeel was thin-to-medium, not quite as watery as Shipyard Pumpkinhead, but close. The taste was spicy, more cinnamon than anything, but not overdone. That said, it also was not doing anything to distinguish itself from the rest of the pack of pumpkin beers. Finish was dry, more thanks to the spices than anything else. This was simply an average beer for the style.

Poured 12oz bottle into snifter glass. 6.7% abv
Appearaance- Pours a dark copper with two finger head quick to dissipate. Clear.
Smell- Caramel malt and cinnamon over rule.
Taste- A caramel malt builds sweetness with a slight yet far amount of fresh pumpkin meat. Some chocolate tones in there as well. Cinnamon is the dominant spice and carries into the finish, leaving a sweet taste linger.
Medium in body with low carbonation.
Overall- A decent pumpkin beer with an interesting malt profile. The spices were not overbearing. Smooth as well.
