Beautiful beer, bright shiny golden color with a thick, pillowy head that had great staying power.
The nose is strong band aids and plenty of floral/medicinal esters. Nothing fruity or sugary to be found. This tastes as disappointing as the smell suggested it would. Vague Belgian yeast character, band aids, and a mouth drying floral heat. The mouthfeel is thick and syrupy.
Overall this isn't a terrible beer. There isn't anything off or offensive here, it's just bland I guess.

Poured from a 12oz bottle into a US tumbler pint glass.
A: The beer is a deep amber color, with a thin off-white head that fades quickly and leaves a thin lace on the glass.
S: The aroma contains Belgian yeast, caramelized malts, fruit, some spice and a touch of hops.
T: The taste starts out with some breadiness from a hearty malt character and Belgian yeast. Then some sweet flavors of spices, fruit and caramel come in. There’s also a touch of an alcohol sting. The after-taste is slightly spicy and slightly sweet.
M: Crisp and a little smooth, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is slightly sticky.
O: Tasty, goes down easily, not too filling, good kick, good representation of style, it’s a solid beer to drink for a while.
