Nice beer. Slight smoky smell. Hint of sour beneath a smoky taste.

It pours pitch black with a light tan head. Smells smoky, peaty and metallic. The taste is a combination of smoky bitterness and (surprisingly) of intense acidity. Not much in the way of maltiness or sweetness. Some ash-like notes too. Not as balanced as rauchbiers but enjoyable nonetheless. This brewery knows how to make smoked beers (their Smoked Porter is also excellent). A very unique and tasty beer!

Totally sour, had a smell of smoke and sone promising head on it, but had a gross sour twang. No idea how old it was, bottle isn't dated. Managed 2 swallow before it went down the drain.
