On-tap 11/19/2021 at Jillian’s in Somerset, MA, served in a US tumbler pint glass.
A: The beer is a very light yellow color, with a large foamy white head that fades slowly and leaves a thick lace on the glass.
S: The aroma is faint but contains lemon and other citrus fruits, grassy hops and very light caramelized malts.
T: The taste starts out with a burst of lemon and other citrus fruit sweetness that is quickly followed by a grassy hops bitterness that is mild for the style but very complementary and works quite well for this beer. The malt character is very light but brings a very good balance. The after-taste is slightly sweet.
M: Very crisp and very smooth, light body, medium carbonation, finish is very clean.
O: Very tasty, goes down extremely easy, not filling at all, mild kick, very good light representation of style. It reminds me of the original version of Narragansett Summer Ale, which I liked a lot. This is a very good beer to pound down for a long time.
