400ml pour at the brewery.
Dark, murky brown, medium-sized head. Smell is nuts and dark bread crust, yeast, mild toffee sweetness. Taste is similar, on the sweet and grainy side. Toffee and molasses and barley tea sweetness, nuts and earthiness to balance that out. Mouthfeel is rich and smooth, with just a little prickliness to break up any monotony. A little unusual but very nice.
