375 ml bottle into a snifter. Had 5/16/17.
Pours a lightly hazy golden orange, with a short foamy head and some spotty lacing. Aromas of malt, white grapes, yeast, spices, some wine and smoke. Tastes of white grapes, malt, light caramel and orange, some bitterness. Mostly smooth, a good medium body, appropriately carbonated.
Good flavor and aroma, but kind of plain and uninspiring.

I bought this one from the round house. It poured a clear golden with white head that is not leaving any lace. The scent is a combo of fireplace ash with hints of banana and clove. The taste has good banana and clove. There is a caramel zing as well. The Mouthfeel is medium in body with smooth carbonation. Overall this beer is very nice and well worth the taste.

I'm not sure how it happens that I am the first review this beer. (This may be a first for me to be a first... am I nervous?)
Here is the story:I decided to drink this Weiss because summertime is a good time to reduce my wheat inventory and I was playing tennis with doubles buddies in a brutal humidity and I figured I could share a partially refreshing beverage. They are looking for lagers, but at least one of the three is "intrigued." But basically, I have no converts and drink most of this myself and get on my bike and arrive home three miles later acting as if this is normal, safe behavior.
This is a good beer that is sweet enough to get going the salivary glands and, then, there are enough hops to say this is a complete beer. And it is: complex in the nose, a similarly fruity taste, refreshing enough in the mouth. This beer indicates that Two Brothers is good enough to charge a premium price for their one-offs and still deliver. I hope that continues.
Review 3 months later.... No change in rating. This second bottle was Had with a fruit tart dessert and went splendidly. The barley wine part worked and the summer fruit part worked well with the wheat. I hope I find this again before it is gone.
