500 ml bottle into a tulip snifter. Had 2/3/20.
Pours a darker orange, somewhat cloudy, with a half inch foamy head and some light cling. Aromas of malt, toffee, some white grapes, spices, light grain, light smoke, an indistinguishable fruity aroma. Flavors of malt, some toffee, grain, spices, some white grapes, light apples. Smooth, a good but lighter body for the style, well carbonated.
Not bad, but no real focus. Maybe it was too old. Good enough aroma and flavor, but the feel is lacking. It just doesn’t take you anywhere. Had the 2011 & 2015 versions, and both were better.

Saved 2016 to have with my brother at our next Christmas together. But, I wasn't sure wheat wines stay well that long... despite their high alcohol. But, I got away with it as this one was close to great.
While it Looked cloudy like a wheat and Smelled very fruity (apple or pear), it Tasted like a celebration; slightly bubbly, though soft on the tongue. And it did not get syrupy like pear juice. While a sipper, it went fine with most appetizers which tend to have butter-fat this time of year.

Loved how the peach influence, especially how it took to the bright woodiness of the beer. Taste sips like a nice sweet tea, with enough fruit to go with underlying bitter. Medium bodied, but still has enough wheat to satisfy style
