Do you like piña coladas? A beer inspired by the combination of In the Flesh Sour Pineapple Ale and Pahoehoe Coconut Ale. Escape evokes the tropics and the guilty pleasure song from the 70's. This subtly sour pineapple and coconut beer is flavor forward and refreshing. It's time to ESCAPE!

Tasted in a pint glass from draft at O'Toole's on September 19, 2017. A piña coladas golden ale with a blend of sweet coconut and sour pineapple. A nice summer session ale.

12oz can, lot#2217
Effervescent golden body with a fizzy white head. Aroma faintly smells like a piña colada with some coconut and minimal pineapple on the sour. Tart flavor and quite sour with pineapple coming through intermittently. Coconut is present but not overbearing. Some pale malt and yeast in the mix. High carbonation, lighter body, finishing tart and sour with coconut and pineapple riding out the finish especially as it warms. Overall, I've never had anything like this. It's decent but nothing I'd get again.
