a lovely cold ipa here, super brisk and clean and crushable, so fresh and flavorful, one of their best beers we had while visiting, and thats saying a lot because these guys are doing some incredible stuff already! looks like a simple blonde ale, sunny yellow and immaculately clear, like i can see myself in this thing, high shine, super scrubbed and tidy, high white headed and fizzy, loose lace as it drinks, looks absolutely wonderful and also very light as ipa goes, even cold ipa. it doesnt seem all the complicated in the aroma, just dialed in. i get a little mosaic type pineapple character, a little simcoe type pink grapefruit freshly sliced open, but im not sure what hops they use, even a little of that fresh milled white pine board thing i get from centennial sometimes, but this doesnt seem to rely on thiolized yeast and southern hemisphere varietals to be unique, its well layered and fruity, a little dank, and honestly only a bit familiar even though the hops do not seem exotic, and the same is true with the flavor. light honey and candied hop intensity up front, perhaps some cryo hops in play with the early start, high saturation but never green, and with only middle of the road bitterness, subtle lychee and green lawn at the end, very basic malt base is well out of the way but this is balanced in a modern way, neutral on the ferment and especially clean there, definitely lager-esque characteristics in terms of mouthfeel, this is drinkable and refreshing for being so hop driven. almost hits like a wet hop ipa, its that pungent and fresh. exceptionally well done overall! get in here and check these guys out if you havent yet, i was super impressed!
