super simple little blonde ale here with a honey middle and a clean finish, i think well named because this works real nice as a morning beer or a hangover beer, easy one to get back into the swing of things with, well made, a less is more approach, but just a blonde ale, nothing radical or ambitious or anything, just a beer. golden colored, pretty clear, average white head on it from the tap at the source. a lightly floral nose, not hoppy to me, but not bland either, fresh and balanced, with a mild grain sweetness to me and a grounding earthiness, clean it seems on the ferment. the flavor follows, not quite one dimensional, but basic for sure, clean and fresh and quick in a good way, not quite lager quickness but it wouldnt surprise me if this was fermented a little cooler, its tidy like that. some mid palate sweetness gives way to light husky graininess later, some mellow bittering hops, and a fast fading medium body, clean on the swallow. ive come to love these guys already for their more creative recipes, but the execution is there with this one and its a good one to get the day started, a gateway type craft beer, would please the yellow beer drinker just fine, very drinkable. good visit in here this time, great beer list!

Look: Best thing about this beer. Clear yellow with a low-medium white head.
Smell: Quite light. A faint buttery aroma is all that’s present.
Taste: Do-able. Mostly follows the smell but gives a gentle sweetness that is then followed by the lingering buttery bread taste.
Feel: High in mouth and coarsely carbonated.
Overall: You know, it’s an ok enough beer. Only cost me $8.99 for a six pack so can’t complain. Better than buying an AAL for the same price. It’s just not a beer I would seek out again.
