real solid can of hazy ipa here, fruity and juicy but not exclusively, not not sweet, and while it does get a little murky and sedimented even for the style towards the bottom, i think overall this is great, the hop profile is modern and appealing, and it drinks smooth, lighter than it looks, and doesnt linger all harsh and vegetal. very dense but also really pale, lighter than yellow even, so it looks especially starchy, high frothy head on it though, enough carbonation that it doesnt sag, and just a bit of sandy sediment in the bottom that can be discarded. the nose is bright and fresh to me, smashed green coconut, pineapple candy, and mandarin orange, with just pale cereal grain behind it, some oily dankness but this leans way more fruity than weedy, well layered too. in the flavor the hops hit with different notes and different moments, up front lemon curd and coconut water, mid palate sweeter melon and papaya, later on sharper citrus with just a touch of greenness, exceedingly fresh, slightly yeasty, a little raw and rugged on the grain side but minimal in terms of the flavor it brings, some unmalted grain likely in here. a little slick feeling, real well carbonated, and pillow soft. love late lemongrass, tangerine, and honeydew. really bright and flavorful take on the style, almost whipped and creamed, distinctive and delicious, this is just a little bit of refinement away from glory, but the hop profile slays!
