Bought this bottle at Total Wine & More. My second from Louvada and they might grow into their diverse styles.
But this Vienna is average. Its Looks and lace certainly could be more. Smells are mostly malt and not much else. Tastes are balanced, but not interesting; and it could stand some slight bittering in the finish. Light in a full-ish style for lagers.
No need for me to have this again, but glad I did.
I want to like Louvada, but suggest they focus on ales and lagers until they get older; sort of the North American micro-model. Louvada's Vienna did pair well with leftovers... which is no mean feat.
Interesting note: I just read an article arguing that Brazil was now the largest democracy in the Western Hemisphere. What do you think of that ?
