without question the least impressive beer on their eight beer drink menu when we were in last weekend, this is bland, a little chemically, and just not great, a stark contrast to the technically very solid rest of the group, and this isnt bad per se, its just not as well done, seems a little cheaper or something to me overall, the one to skip for sure. not that light, more golden than yellow, with a quick fading white head from the tap and on the whole i think a little more grain character than is flattering in the style. it smells and tastes about the same, a slightly stressed fermentation, a subtle hint of lemon and herbal tea, and a light note of toast with faint honey sweetness, it sits a little, lingers, and lacks the quickness and refreshment capacity, and also tidiness, that i generally expect from the style, but in the context of a winter type blonde, if they were going for that, i can see the little extra working out, its just a little off in the ferment, lightly astringent there in a style i typically dont want any yeast input at all. carbonation felt a little light too, and all up this left a bit to be desired. the only one on their list i wouldnt happily order again, if you are seeking a lighter offering, check out their pils!

Half pour at Ruckus. Foggy golden pour, half finger of creamy white head. Faint bready aroma. Taste is light, grainy, white bread with a bit more bitterness than I'm used to for the style.
