Clear, amber golden with a loose head that drops to a film leaving some lacing. There are floral and spice notes on the nose. Taking a sip reveals a crisp beer that leans a little sweet and fruity - apricot on the tart side and something like papaya and honeydew on the sweet side. I can buy the farmhouse ale side of this, at least something close to it using a different yeast (I assume Kviek). There is a splash of bitterness in the end - I want to say a little cucumber skin-like. Given the fruity aspects earlier in the taste, it isn’t a detractor, more of an interesting twist. At least a fairly fun beer to sip.
