Created in Mexico City together with our friends at @fallingpianobrewing – Chilanga is a rosy-hued, crisp, aromatic ale brewed with fragrant Hibiscus Flower, naturally sweet Blue Agave Nectar, and E.B.C.’s iconic Blueberry. Inspired by fresh elements directly from our brew team’s visit to the El Centro de Abastos: the largest open market in Mexico City. Served in a pint glass
This beer pours a brilliant amber hue. It is topped with an inch of tan head that disappears quickly leaving nary a trace.
I can smell the from the glass sitting on the table. It has a nice blueberry aroma too.
The blueberry and hibiscus are upfront. It has a bitter flavor that rushes in. Blueberry and hibiscus in the finish.
Medium bodied with a smooth mouthfeel
Love the smell. The taste was more bitter than expected with a soapy flavor.

Blueberry and Agave abound in this nice brew....a bit flat, but smells purty and drinks smooth .... not really my beer type, so I might be being a bit harsh but I think it's pretty good, just not memorable

I've always been a fan of their blueberry ale but this is so much better. Pours purple. Big blueberry aroma. A big full blueberry body. Excellent flavor. A nice malt finish. Slight hibiscus and agave throughout. Nice and smooth. One of the best fruit beers I've had in a long time.
