Quimera Brewpub "Not Another Fucking IPA"
28 cl. glass/3,75€ on tap at the brewery on 20 November 2024
Notes via stream of consciousness: This is not another IPA, it's really more of a pale ale. It's a clear deep-golden/amber in color beneath a white head that displays very good head retention and even better lacing. It has a medium strength aroma with notes of citrus, peach, and berry. The flavor adds in some bready malt and - DIACETYL !!! It's not too strong, and therefore OK. I even enjoy a little bit of diacetyl in some beers. It's medium bodied and smooth, almost like it was poured via nitro. It's still a good beer but the diacetyl hurts its score in the end.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
