Wild Fern Brewing

 

I was very impressed with this very new brewery! Absolutely stellar vibe, with lots of plants, deer antler tap handles, low lighting, and live music! Pretty darn impressive beer for being so new, with my highest rating being a 4.39 on their smoked helles lager, Ash, and my lowest coming in at 4.12 on their dunkelweizen, Dusk. Being very small they didn't have a lot of staff, but the were very attentive and happy to chat about their beer! The only real downside right now is that they only have 6 taps. I'd assume that will increase with time, and I'd up my selection rating if and when that happens.

Located just south of the main "downtown" of Frenchtown, it's in the front section of a shared building. Inside space with tables and a few seats at the bar with lots of plants and natural vibe. Outside there are picnic tables on a sunny patio. They have 6 beers on draft - Czech Pilsner, Pale Ale, IPA, Dark Mild, Smoked Helles, Saison. I had the Pils and the Mild, both very good. Friendly staff.
