I had this beer on-tap in a tulip at the brewery in Rancho Cucamonga.
Appearance: medium yellow hue with plenty of haze and a thick head of ivory foam atop.
Smell: earthy, slightly dank tropical character with aromas of papaya and passionfruit. Dark and interesting.
Taste: malt on the sweet side with a kind of dankish passionfruit character. It’s not quite as … approachable? as I normally like, but I’m finding it oddly compelling.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good level of carbonation and a good creaminess.
Overall: an interesting hazy; within the guidelines of the style but with a kind of different take on things.
