Comes in a one liter brown plastic bottle with a red label featuring the trademark gothic "L". Sugar is an ingredient. Best before 4/20/04, I opened it on 11/30/03.
This one they got right. Pours a lovely cloudy orangish copper under a pale tan one finger head that lingers and leaves very nice lace rings down the glass. The nose is a bit on the fruity side, with some flowery hops to boot. The mouth is prickly and somewhat heavy. The taste starts tart, but then the hops kick in. Nice crisp, clean British hops that get up into your nose and fill the back of your mouth is dry bitter tea leaves. The sour malts linger for a while, but the aftertaste is all bitter. Very nice.
