i struggle calling this place an actual brewery, although i have been told multiple times that they do some brewing here. i have never seen equipment, we must be talking almost homebrew level, the space is small inside and there is nowhere for it to hide i dont think, at the very least they have made some hopwater and do some blending, maybe collaborate with the mothership, but if anything a very small amount of beer is being produced here, although i think their sour slushies are done here, id love to hear a little more about that side of things, but the draw of course is that they have beer from the bruery, the real one in california, i thought it was an april fools joke when i heard they were opening a location here, not sure how this came to be, met the main investor dude and he was awesome, seems cool that this exists, and they have kept the tap list exciting, and i think its rad that boise beer drinkers can support this place, i was unsure if this town would be into it or not, cool that they are! the space is wonerful, brand new, open on the inside for being so small, lots of windows and bar seating in the main area, and some cozy sit spots walking back, a little barrel area where you can drink right from some barrels in process, and then like an old velvet couch and a coffee table area, almost a living room vibe, but i like their patio best, the side and the back pop off, real nice area, tables, shade sails, fans, a green space for dogs and yard games, and they seem to have a pretty steady food truck now, which is also nice. the outdoor space is fabulous, especially for this wasteland of an area, they nailed it. the beer list is epic, nowhere around does such a collection of pasty beers, big barrel aged stouts and barleywines, weird blends, and exotic sours exist, its insane this is all made in one spot, so much to pick from on this beer list and it changes often, and its definitely been fun to get into so many of them now that they are here. i know their business has changed, a sale and maybe another sale and not sure what original minds are still involved, and some of the beer has been not amazing too, in the old days every single one was a banger, but i blame some of that on their first distributor partner here who did a poor job keeping it fresh, its been much better lately, they do have some hoppy beers and lagers that require that here, dont forget. overall the beers are epic and worth it every time, maybe the slightest shine is off it now, but thats everything when it becomes accessible no? everyone ive ever met here working has been super nice, great service. its super expensive to make beer like this, and its reflected in the costs of drinking here, which can get away form you in a hurry, but they offer more manageable small pours of everything which makes great sense when many of them are so strong, its all i need of a lot of them anyway. fancy beer for sure, but there is something for everyone, although we could use more non beer choices for the families and such, beer drinkers paradise though! im so glad these guys are here, and so close by, and that we get so many of their greats, even with the idaho abv restrictions. despite the changes with the company this is instantly one of the best in idaho, and i am excited to see what they actually produce in this location when they get that part really firing. definitely a must stop when doing the boise beer circuit, its wonderful! never thought i would see the day where i had access to this beer on the regular, fanboy dream come true, life is good!

Love this place - great service and selection and excellent quality of brews across a large spectrum. Friendly people, nice outdoor patio when the weather is nice, good food close by (you can order outside food here). Modern feeling establishment lacks a little charm, and the brews are not cheap, but no complaints here as the beer quality and smiles make up for it.

Interesting location, just off of the busy Eagle Road south of Meridian, near Top Golf. You have to search for it. Modern, airy interior, high ceilings, variety of seating options. Very laid back with a varied taplist, mostly dedicated to their infamous stouts. A nice place to celebrate my birthday.
