Welcome to outerbeerspace!! Utilizing primarily Galaxy hops, this beer is fresh, hoppy, and incredibly drinkable. The berry and mellon hop flavors are backed by a clean malt body from 2-row malt, oats, and carapils.

Here's the current version, dated 01/21/25. Pours a clear amber in the tall Weizenbier glass with plenty of foam. Faint aroma of cereal. Light and sudsy mouthfeel. Tastes of grain with a mellow malty flavor. Just slightly sweet but not distracting. Overall this is highly quaffable, and more warm and grainy than the usual hop lords. This would be a nice alternative to the Lager styles for a thirst-quenching mouthful. From the 16 oz can purchased at O'Shea Brewing

Finally made my way out for a San Diego Beer Week event, I think my first ever. Once I heard $4 drafts from 11:30 a.m.-6 p.m. at Blind Lady Ale House and Tiger! Tiger! I decided to make my way over to BLAH. Had Highland Park for the first time over the summer at the Firestone Invitational and loved their offerings. First time I’d seen it on tap and was excited to try it. Was going to be a quick review.
Poured a straw hazy color with 2-to-3 fingers of rocky white head. Just a few slow bubbles coming up from the bottom of the glass. Very good spotty acing. Outstanding retention. (Sight - 4.00)
Smelled Citra, Galaxy, tangerine pulp, pineapple, stone fruit and melon. (Smell - 4.00)
Tasted Galaxy, Citra, pineapple, melon, stone fruit, tangerine, citrus pulp, guava, mixed berry and grass. (Taste - 4.00)
Medium body. Oily texture. Average carbonation. Abrupt dry finish. (Feel - 3.75)
Just a really good pale ale. Outstanding for the style. (Overall - 4.00)

Beer Spaceship pours a bright translucent yellow. A hard handed por gives to a small white foamy head that dissipates completely. It doesn't leave much lacing at all, but still manages to be a pretty beer.
It smells of lemon and lime with a faint crackery, fresh milled grain which translates almost perfectly into the flavor. There is a mild floral finish.
Superbly clean, light and dry feeling, Beer Spaceship is well balanced with just a light amount of earthy bitterness edging out the sweetness. Despite its lazy appearance, there is enough carbonation to keep it lively.
This is a very good modern take on the APA. It's light and refreshing sensibility and lower abv makes for an easy all day beverage. If this were readily available, it would definitely be a regular in the rotation. Cheers and thanks Jay!

Appearance: Arrives a slightly hazy honey color with a frothy cap that leaves sheets of lacing
Smell: Tropical fruit aromatics with a hint of citrus
Taste: A clean malt base underscores the tropical fruit flavors (guava, principally) that co-mingle with a slightly grassy aspect; crisp, dry finish with moderate bitterness
Mouthfeel: Light to medium body with moderate carbonation; slightly aqueous
Overall: A refreshingly delightful APA

On tap at the Hermosillo. Pours a hazy gold with decent head (white) that leaves minimal lacing. A very easily drinkable - session-able even - pale ale. Taste is citrus with slight hop bitterness. Crisp and dry finish. Yum.
