Review taken from notes approximately 8 months old.
On tap at The Hermosillo, pours a medium yellow with gold edges and a full off white head that fades somewhat quickly. Nose is all green herbs and spices, some green pepper and assertive celery with earthy undertones. Mouth feel is good with nice balance and carbonation.
Flavor profile follows nose. Green herbs, green pepper tones with salty celery and "wet dirt" earth tones. Complex, different and I really like it for its layers of unique flavors. Well done.

On tap at The Hermosillo in Los Angeles, CA.
Described as a farmhouse ale with herbs.
Pours a murky light yellow with a foamy bone head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Foamy streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, grain, earth, floral, and herb aromas. Taste is much the same with grain, fruit, floral, and herb flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of herb bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a good beer that is tasty, light, and easy to drink with a nice use of the herbs this was brewed with.
Serving type: on tap.
