Served from tap at Hermosillo. Pours gold with white head. Aroma is sour with some fruit (lemon?). Taste is funky and earthy but with some light citrusy notes. Not a lot of oak character from the barrels present as far as I could taste. Medium bodied. A quite good saison!

On tap at Highland Park Brewery in Los Angeles, CA.
Pours a murky yellow with a foamy white head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Foamy rings of lace line the glass on the drink down. Smell is sour with grain, earth, herb, fruit, and wood aromas. Taste is much the same with slightly sour grain, fruit, earth, and slight herb flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of acidity and earth bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer with a great sour smell, but the taste is less sour than the smell led me to believe.
Serving type: on tap.
