Cloudy yellow/orange.
Sharp tartness from the yeast.
Tart notes are smoothed out from the oats, I think. Can't pick out the hops as the yeast is the focus of this one. Pleasant, bright citric character with welcome peppery notes and only a tinge of acidity.
Smoothing out from the oats is not to style but that's the point.

On tap at Highland Park Brewery in Los Angeles, CA.
Pours a murky light yellow with a foamy white head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Small streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is slightly sour with grain, lemon juice, earth, wood, and acidic aromas. Taste is much the same with slightly sour grain, lemon juice, and wood flavors on the finish. There is a very mild amount of acidity on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a good beer that is light, tasty, and easy to drink.
Serving type: on tap.
