Poured from bottle, batch #2. Pours a cloudy bright light yellow with a foamy white head. Nose is bright but a bit mellow. Sour grape skins and light spice. Taste of orange peel, spices, pale malt and oak. Barrel comes through nice. Has a forward tartness to it. Medium body with a super dry and crisp clean finish. Makes you want another sip.

On tap at Highland Park Brewery in Los Angles, CA.
Pours a murky light whitish-orange with a foamy bone head that fades to nothing. Tiny dots of lace drip into the remaining beer on the drink down. Smell is slightly sour with grain, citrus fruit, citrus juice, and acidic aromas. Taste is much the same with slightly sour citrus fruit, citrus juice, and wood flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of wood bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a very good beer with nice slightly sour citrus qualities with the base beer.
Serving type: on tap.
