This beer opened with a solid pop...I was worried it was going to gush, it didn't. It did pour with a massive white head that settled quickly enough. This was about as much carb as you need, if not a little much.
Smells is slight banana with some oak. Just a touch of a musty basement.
Taste is just fanatastic. An awesome mix of the usual banana and spices, but the barrel and dry hopping take this to another level.
It's slightly dry and lively with the carbonation, it just dances in your mouth!
Really a fantastic beer, I didn't have it fresh but it's really great right now

Bottle poured into a De Garde tulip. I was expecting a gusher. Poured 2-3 oz into the glass and a huge amount of foam nearly gushed over the top. Lovely golden color. Smells of Belgian yeast, oak, hint of banana. Taste is very dry, woody, crisp mouthfeel. I like this but I don't love it. I'm glad I only bought one though. If you enjoy highly carbonated oak aged Belgian farmhouse ales you will likely enjoy this beer.
