On tap at Modern Times PDX.
A clear reddish orange with a white head that falls off rapidly leaving little lacing this looks solid. The nose is nice and grainy with a grape note. Mild spice with white pepper, grape , grape skin, a little apple, straw, a moderate acetic note. Red wine vinegar, mild barrel tannins and vanilla. The palate opens sour with a moderate acetic and mild lactic acid bite. A noticeable grape character, rather fruity with peach, passionfruit, and grape is present. Quite sour with more of a Flemish red like character. Drying, tart on the finish with moderate barrel and vanilla notes to go with the grain and mild spice. Nice.
