Finally Fresh is a 5.3% ABV Keller Pils that was brewed in Highland Park by lead brewer Tyler. This beer was brewed around the beginning of the shutdown & has been lagering in a tank for 81 days. Thanks to the oats & rye, you’ll get a soft pillowy mouth feel similar to our Allagash collab, Rhythm Pils.

Picked this up at Blind Lady Ale House for a good price of $9 for a crowler. I’m a big fan of Highland Park and a big fan of pilsners, so was expecting some good things heading into this. Searched down a description and found this on their Instagram - "Finally Fresh is a 5.3% ABV Keller Pils that was brewed in Highland Park by lead brewer Tyler. Poured a medium yellow clear color with three fingers of frothy white head. Just a few bubbles coming up along the sides of the glass. Average watery lacing. Poor retention. (Sight - 3.25)
Smelled grass, sourdough bread, white cracker, cereal, grain, pear and hints of apple. (Smell - 4.25)
Taste was almost as good as the nose, following it for the most part. In order got sourdough bread, grass, black pepper, grain, cereal, pear and hints of apple. Grew on me each sip. (Taste - 4.25)
Light body. Oily texture. Average carbonation. Dry finish. (Feel - 4.50)
Just an excellent pilsner. Glad I picked this up. (Overall - 4.25)

Clear golden amber brew with adequate foam in the Leute Bokbier glass. Pleasant fragrance of straw and honey. Clean and crisp but not acidic. Not an actual Kellerbier, apparently, given the clarity. As a Pilsner it's quite tasty, less hoppy than typical. Some flavors of blueberry and resins along with the mild cereal taste.
Not much bitterness in the aftertaste. Quite quaffable, mild and mellow. From the 32 oz crowler can purchased at Blind Lady Alehouse in SD.
