Pours the dark burnished Spanish leather. Light Sandy head quickly settles into a lithe ring.
No bounds with toffee, figs, dates. Bliss.
Flavor follows, but is a little more subtle.
Mouthfeel is a tad chewy.

Poured on tap in Anaheim. Pours a very dark brown - almost black. Minimal head. The nose is slight toffee and plums. The taste is toffee, plums, raisins, baking chocolate, vanilla, and bourbon. What a great barleywine this is. Great medium bodied mouthfeel with brandy on the aftertaste.
