With Fresh Hop Timbo Pils, we got some help from our friends at YCH. They partnered up with a company called Ripe Locker and were able to send us 150lbs of fresh Mosaic whole cone hops. They arrived in a vacuum sealed, moisture controlled container and we used them the next day!
For our first Fresh Hop Timbo Pils, we used 150lbs of fresh hop Mosaic hops in the whirlpool and then a dry hopping of Mosaic & Citra hops. We’re experiencing intense notes of orange slices, passion fruit, & riesling grapes.

Bready-biscuity malty, prominent and danky fresh Mosaic hoppy, a hint of blueberry, a touch of pine, and a lemon zesty citrus nose on this one! Taste follows with a lovely Mosaic-dank, cereal malty, piney hoppy bitter finish. Not the prettiest little thing and not as crisp on the backend like I want it, but this is a fantastic fresh hop hoppy pils!

16oz can served in a straight sided hotel glass. Canned 10/18/24.
Pours clear light yellow, smallish head, lots of active carbonation. Smell is powerful and bright, lots of lemon rind and citrus blossom. Fresh cut grass.
Taste is light breadiness, strong hop resin bitterness, strong lemon rind, a little creamy sweetness.
Mouthfeel is mostly light and clean. Overall, very good.
