I had this beer on-tap in an old-school pilsner glass at the brewery. They call this a “juicy IPA”, but not specifically a “hazy IPA”.
Appearance: medium golden hue with a moderate haze and a thin finger of compact ivory foam.
Smell: moderately sweet malt with a sort of crackery character and a nice orange and grapefruit peel hop element. I might not call it “juicy”, as they do, but it’s good.
Taste: very citrus-rind forward with lots of orange and grapefruit character. Sweetness is pretty restrained, so it reads as more bitter than it is, I think. Not your typical “juicy IPA”, but a solid beer nonetheless.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: I am digging this beer. It’s got a little bit of bite to it, so I might space it out a bit, but it’s solid.
