On tap at Farmers Fishers Bakers (in DC), pours as opaque black with a khaki frothy one-finger head. Mostly malty aromas. Taste is very malt-forward with lactose, chocolate, and cacao flavors. Body is creamy almost like a milk stout, nice. No odd after-tastes (as is not uncommon in these adventuresome varieties.)

A-pours black with an off white head with nice retention
S-roasted coffee, dark chocolate brownies, cocoa
T-roasted coffee and burnt chocolate, with more roasted flavors and unsweetened cocoa in the finish
M-medium bodied and smooth

Excellent chocolate stout. Rich, creamy with hints of vanilla. A slightly bitter aftertaste like burnt coffee.Moderate carbonation. Overall, a top notch stout. Well done, Troegs!
