I wasn't able to pour this, so I had to rate it based on what most goses typically look like, but I'm positive about how good this beer tastes. Perfectly tart and very, very smooth. A real quality gose.

Poured from a glass into a weizen glass.
Overall: A fine, tart Gose. Not extreme, but enjoyable.
A dark straw yellow, bright and fizzy looking with a fleeting sparkly head.
The smell of wheat twang and brightness, but little else in the nose.
A tasty burst of wheat twang, funk, and lemon rinds. A sour/salty kick, but nothing too pucker drastic. A mild malty salty finish.
A sparkly, light, refreshing, salty, sour Gose.

L: Clear deep gold, slight chill haze, small bubbly head that dies down to a ring and leaves some lacing.
S: Quite sour, pithy lemon, some funk, pineapple, quite juicy. Also very salty, almost broth-like.
T: Exceptionally salty, chicken noodle soup broth, but nicely balanced with crisp lemon juice, pineapple, and apple skin. Malt is subtle, but there is cracker and a touch of honey. Just a touch of coriander on the finish along with more salt.
F: Light-bodied, but not watery. Feels full on the palate with soda-like carbonation.
O: A very pleasant interpretation of the Gose from Troegs. The more intensely sour and salty type, which is my preference.

Poured into a snifter.
3.25 A: Nearly clear light orange color. Two fingers of pillowy off-white head. Retention is a tad below average and just a couple scattered wisps of lacing are left.
3.25 S: Lemony tartness from first whiff. Briny earthiness. Orange peel and coriander to round it off.
3.5 T: Decent pucker factor here. Lemony with orange citrus. Some funk in the form of rotting wood. Salt is a bit on the mild side, but still present, and the same goes for the coriander.
3.25 M: Lighter body and refreshing. Good moderate carbonation that comes off a tad bitey. Frothy feel.
3.5 D: Decent gose, but if I'm gonna drink a salt beer, I want one a bit more savory than this.

Solid Gose, but it certainly comes off as a bit paint-by-numbers, and it was lacking in the tart department as well as the salt. Just my personal taste. Fine drinking on a summer day

A: Yellow, slightly hazy, with a large white head.
S: Slightly tart with notes of coriander, some light funk, as well as a touch of sea water and citrus.
T: Tart up front with orange zest and lime the tartness continues through the middle with salt taking over part way through, and finish out with a spice note.

Thanks Bryan for gifting me with one of these. 12oz bottle poured into a cervoise appears a perfectly clear golden yellow color with a white cap that holds well.
The aroma contains lemon, wheat and some saline aspect minorly chlorine-like with minerals.
The taste is tart with lemon, sweet wheaty grain, lightly floral and fruity with a firm salinity that makes this brew quite savory.
This is light in body with modest carbonation. Troegs really did well with this one. Nicely done, id drink it again.

I purchased this bottle from the brewery general store poured chilled into a wheat glass.
Light golden with slight haze and look is like apple juice with head that has small beading and drops to nothing but bubbles. The smell is mostly wheat malt smell with hint of yeast and slight tangy floral scent. The feel is good with a medium high carbonation with mild sourness and low mineral element with malt low in the texure with lingering tangy and dry finish.
The taste is very good with a nice level of tartness lemony with slight malt in the middle taste-wise with gentle mineral accent in the flavor that is light yet refreshing. I consider this a very good example of the gose style, not too salty or sour but very solid sour wheat with salt

Poured into a small pint glass, color is straw/gold, hazy, a little dense looking, head is off white mainly fine to small bubbles, no lacing.
Smell is very pleasant, a little too tart, but the coriander and light saltiness works in nicely.
Taste has one of the best coriander presence of all the goses available currently, tartness seems to be overdone and the saltiness falls behind; anyway the coriander is noticeable and well done with a good background of the other flavors.
Mouthfeel is crisp at first with quick fullness on the tongue from the salt, then it turns sour and bites the tongue with a pungent tart finish.
Overall, this beer has a great coriander presence not seen in most big market goses', the tartness seems a bit too much and the saltines is just noticeable.
