We recently released a double IPA inspired by our winter Hop Cycle seasonal, Blizzard of Hops. For Scratch #241, we’ve scaled the blizzard back to a small flurry. Using the same base ingredients as our Winter IPA, “Li’l Blizzard” (as we’ve nicknamed it around here) offers comparable notes of citrus and pine without the higher ABV.

Cloudy pale straw body, soapy, messy bone-white head. Aroma is big on citrus, fruity zest, slight herbal note. Flavor is citrus, tropical fruits, hints of grass. Feel is medium bodied, sticky, medium carbonation. Really fantastic session IPA with huge flavor.
