A perennial favorite, our Belgian-style Witbier incorporates subtle tartness and a delicate orange aroma to complement the distinctive spicy flair of LaChouffe yeast. We circulate a blend of coriander, orange and lemon peel, and pink and green peppercorns through our HopBack to impart a soft floral aroma with a spicy finish and citrusy zing.

Bottle into a tulip appears a hazy pale golden yellow color with a firm white head 4 fingers strong that fades slow leaving a full wall of lace.
Aroma is peppery with yeastiness and a little clove. Soft bready and mild fruity appeal.
Taste has a bit of green yeastiness, clove and black pepper with wheat and bready grain sweetness.
Light in body with modest carbonation. Im not big into the green yeastiness of this but everything else is quite pleasant.

This wit is outstanding -great feel and flavor with noticeable spice and citrus peel with great yeast flavor -this might be one of the best witbiers made by an American brewery I have tried

Bottle from the brewery, pours cloudy yellow color with a thick 3 finger snow white foamy head that was full of tiny bubbles and dissipated very slowly, with the head caving in like a cloudy canyon leaving excellent foamy spider web lacing coating the sides.
Smells of orange peel, lemon zest, coriander, yeast, light peppery spices and bread crust that has brown sugar or even syrup on it. The aroma is more zesty and citrusy than sweet, with some floral aspects coming out late.
Tastes pretty much like it smells but with the addition of grapefruit, dry grass or hay and a hint of clove to go along with the orange peel, lemon zest, coriander, yeast and light peppery spices. The bread crust and brown sugar bring biscuit and lightly toasted grains to the backbone before a mild tartness comes through with some bubblegum. Nice complexities and a fine citrus essence goes well with this warm summer night.
Mouthfeel is smooth and thin feeling with a zesty citrus bitterness, a slight yeast doughy aspect and a light overall feel that goes down easy. It's got enough flavor to be interesting and light enough to session.
Overall much more enjoyable than I expected. Normally witbier is not my style, but this was very well done and a beer I could see myself drinking every summer if Tröegs brought it into the yearly rotation.

Very cloudy pale-orange body with a thick, frothy bone-white head. Aroma has notes of banana, toasted coriander, hints of citrus and dried grass. Flavor is big grainy bread, hints of orange peel, dashes of toast and a slightly toasty and peppery finish. Feel is medium bodied, but slightly fuller than I expected, medium carbonation and somewhat creamy. An interesting take on a witbier for sure.
