Pours a light copper color with reddish hints and a white crackling head. Aroma of sour yeast, fruit and malt sweetness. Fairly strong tartness and faint cherry flavors, nice and sharp to the palate like how most good sours are. Satisfying balance of sour and fruit even if it is moreso sour. Light bodied, crisp ale. Good beer.

On-tap 11/25/2016 at Pour Farm Tavern in New Bedford, MA, served in a US tumbler pint glass.

A: The beer is a deep reddish amber color, with a thin off-white head that fades quickly and leaves a thin lace on the glass.

S: The aroma contains light caramelized malts, some cherries and not much else.

T: The taste starts out with a faint, mildly tart and vinegary cherry flavor up front. Then some breadiness comes in from a thin malt character and a little wild yeast. There’s a decent balance. The after-taste is slightly tart.

M: Crisp but not very smooth, light-to-medium body, medium carbonation, finish is dry and slightly sticky.

O: Not very tasty, goes down ok, not too filling, mild kick, not the best representation of style, this is a very mediocre beer at best.

Dark orange with ruby highlights. Frothy head leaves quickly. Slight funk and faint cherry on the nose. Taste follows and is tart from start to finish. Puckering at first-palate adjust with each sip. Tight carbonation helps move things along. Simple but enjoyable.

Poured into a small chalice: color is pale, clear, feint cherry hue; head is bright white with some minor bubbly lacing on the glass.

Smell is lightly funky, maybe some horseblanket funkiness, light tartness.

Taste is pleasant, simple with light funkiness, then some stronger sourness, light cherry and not vinegary.

Mouthfeel is also pleasant, simple sourness is clean and fresh with not any lingering detracting flavors.

Overall a solid light sour beer, simple flavors and light funkiness.
