12oz bottle poured into a tulip appears dark brown in color with almost a pinkish stained tan cap.
Aroma is roasty earth, char, ash, chocolate, anise and fruity cranberry. Taste is tart cranberry, chocolate, coffee, earthy roast and anise.
Light in body with moderate to light carbonation. Not a bad brew at all. It is a unique and festive creation for the holidays. Maybe a slight heavy hand with the cranberry addition as this was more tart than I was expecting but still, it is as advertised and im sure any less cranberry addition and folks would complain its not there.

12 oz bottle poured into a shaker pint.
Appearance
Near black with a short head. Ruby highlights.
Nose
Cocoa, roasted barley, and caramel. Slight cranberry / blueberry sweetness.
Taste
Roasted barley, caramel, and cocoa nib. A cranberry sweetness follows.
Mouthfeel
Medium-light bodied, crisp, and semi-dry.
Overall
The cranberries are there without overpowering the base beer, but it's still a tad too sweet for me.
