Dark amber, light brown color. Appropriately hazy. Little lace.
I get the wheat first and then the banana/clove aromas. In the background I pick up a green vegetable nose which is mildly distracting.
The flavor is sweet (reminds me of bubble gum) with a strong wheat presence. The carbonation is elevated but this doesn't translate to a large or lasting head. The body is light, giving this beer a refreshing quality. Interestingly, the taste does not have a strong banana nor clove flavor. The finish is an interesting blend of the spices one typically gets from these beers (yes, light clove and banana) but doesn't last long.

Having a 14oz pour direct at the source, costing me $6.00.
Filled a wide fluted glass, it is a clear, medium golden-amber color. Has sparse carbo as well as a very thin head, though it does leave some lacing. Aroma is of toasted wheat bread with a touch of clove and banana. Feel is typical for the style; medium body with a smidge of prickle.
Taste starts with more toasty, bready malt and a hint of chocolate. Throw in banana, clove and more grainy malt.... Finishes with a hint of spiciness and floral hops. Well made and solid though not a kickass bier. Prosit!
