Described on their website as a Bohemian Pils, but it's got Saaz hops mixed with Hellertau--the Saaz are much more prominent, so I classified it as a Czech pils.
Growler poured on a Sunday evening at the brewery's tap house and consumed the following afternoon.
Gorgeous pour: bright, sunshine yellow, translucent with a foamy white head.
Smells excellent. Very biscuity and grain-forward with clear nodes of Saaz drying everything out.
Tastes great. Seriously one of the best American-brewed examples of the style I've ever had. Zippy fruity esters start things out, moving into sweet grain with crisp floral nodes and bit of honey. The back end is where the Saaz swoops in to even everything out, with a dry and sweet finish that lingers pleasantly.
